Piggott School maths block plans approved

A two-storey block will be built on the green belt after a Wargrave school demonstrated exceptional circumstances for the work.
Plans for a building with maths classrooms, a science lab and fitness studio at The Piggott School were approved by Wokingham Borough Council’s planning committee last Wednesday.
The designs were similar in size and style to a sixth form block which opened last year.
The new block will give a 15 per cent increase in capacity as the school prepares for a projected increase in pupils coming from its new primary school in Charvil.
