Young singers travelled to the O2 arena to join thousands of schoolchildren at a concert.

Bearwood Primary School choir were among 5,000 singers from the South East at the Young Voices concert on January 28.

The performance included a pop and 70s’ rock medley.

Joanne Garner, school music specialist, said: “Lots of parents came to watch and were amazed at the scale of the concert and how excited the children were to be taking part.

“They all sang their hearts out and were extremely tired on the way home.”

Numerous other wkm schools went as well. If you get the chance to go to YV then do so. A fantastic experience. If a Cllr reads this article then this might be a good idea for a smaller local event in Wkm.
