Former pupils toasted their successes at they returned to St Crispin’s School to collect their exam certificates.

Pupils who secured A-level and GCSE results last summer returned to the London Road school on Wednesday, January 9, to celebrate their successes with former class mates and teachers.

New headteacher Ginny Rhodes congratulated the group before wishing them every success.

Head of Sixth Form Pauline Rankine said: “I am very proud of this year group. Last summer they achieved the best A-level exam results in Wokingham and it was all down to their hard work and commitment to their studies.”

James Doran achieved four A grades at A-level and is now studying Maths at Bath University.

He said: “One of my fondest memories of St Crispin’s was taking part in the school production of Les Misérables – I have a DVD of the production, which I will always keep.”
