Luckley-Oakfield holds first netball tournament

Luckley-Oakfield School held its first Prep Schools’ Netball Tournament.
Ten teams of nine and 10-year-olds from nearby prep schools played a series of round robin matches ahead of the grand finale at the school, in Luckley Road.
The final on Thursday, January 10, was between St George’s School, in Windsor, and Bishopsgate School, in Egham, with Bishopsgate lifting the trophy after a 6-2 win.
Claire Edgerley, head of PE, said: “I would like to thank everyone who took part in the first of what we hope will be an exciting annual event.
“The standard of netball played by the teams was very impressive, and I hope we will see more of the budding netball stars in the future.”
