Festive fun at St Dominic’s Savio

Handmade crafts and jewellery were snapped up by savvy shoppers at a pre-school Christmas gift extravaganza.
Visitors sipped on mulled wine and enjoyed festive snacks as St Dominic’s Savio Catholic Pre-School held a fundraising evening in the junior school hall in Western Avenue on Thursday, November 22.
Stallholder Kerry Kingston, 39, said: “We were pleased with the number of people who came along. There were 15 stalls and a good range of gifts to find.
“There was a really nice atmosphere. I think the parents enjoyed having a shopping evening without the children.
“We’ve held it in the pre-school before but decided to move to the bigger venue of the school hall and I’m glad it went so well.”
