Green light for Farley Hill Primary School expansion

Plans to extend Farley Hill Primary School have been given the go-ahead.
Members of Wokingham Borough Council’s planning committee agreed for the school, in Church Road, to have a single-storey rear extension, replacement fence and new gates.
The application also included plans to build a decked area to provide a new play space and sun shade canopy, which were built during October half term.
The expansion will not increase pupil or staff numbers, but provide extra teaching space to meet educational standards.
The plans were unanimously approved by the committee on Wednesday, November 14.
