Little fighters battled as part of a healthy schools week at St Paul’s CE Junior School.

The school in Oxford Road, Wokingham, was joined by 18 different visitors as pupils dived into a huge range of activities.

Judo expert Ollie Fricker, who runs a club before school on Mondays, gave the children a taster of the sport.

Wellbeing co-ordinator Alison Robinson said: “They had a brilliant time and they loved the judo.”

There were well over a dozen challenges for the children, including basketball, yoga, salsa dancing, street dance, badminton and laughter classes.

The activities week was inspired by the London 2012 Games and pupils learned all about the Olympic values respect, excellence and friendship.

A skipathon during the week raised more than £3,500 for the NSPCC.

Mrs Robinson said: “It’s just brilliant to see all the children in a different learning environment.
