School's helping hand for Robbie the Robot

Children were congratulated for doing their bit for the Robbie the Robot appeal and a polio charity.
Pupils from Maiden Erlegh School in Earley presented a cheque for £300 to the Royal Berkshire Hospital appeal, as well as another £300 to the Rotary Club’s polio eradication charity.
The young people are members of Rotary’s Young Achievers Interact Club and the presentation marked the end of the club’s second year.
A charity presentation took place on Wednesday, May 9, attended by parents and local Rotarians.
