Rivermead youngsters get a head start on first day back

Youngsters returning to a Woodley primary school after the holidays were greeted by some new faces on the first day of term.
Children at Rivermead Primary School in Loddon Bridge Road were welcomed back to school by a new headteacher and new deputy headteacher at the start of term on Wednesday, January 5.
Headteacher Brian Prebble took the first assembly of the year and was joined by deputy Jo Hetherington.
And they were not the only new faces at the school as around 25 youngsters put on their uniforms to join reception teachers Rebecca Tanner and Heidi Goff for their first day at school.
