Rivermead Primary play brings the house down

July 30, 2010

Year Six pupils went back to the days of King Arthur’s Court to say a fond farewell to their school at the end of year leaver’s production.

The pupils at Rivermead Primary School in Loddon Bridge Road dressed as wizards and damsels in distress for their performance of Oh What a Knight.

Year Six teacher Katie Rhodes, said: “It was amazing. The children were so professional and it was obvious how much fun they were having on stage.

“They really enjoyed their first performance and the parents were crying they were laughing so hard.”

The children took to the stage at Rivermead primary school for the last time on Tuesday, July 13, as they move on to secondary schools in September.

Ms Rhodes said: “It was great to see how much they have grown in self confidence and matured into truly wonderful young people.

“There were lots of smiling faces in Rivermead last night and we couldn’t be prouder of them. Well done Year Six.”
