Crackdown on truants

Police will be cracking down on truants and anti-social parking during an operation around schools later this month.
The Norreys neighbourhood policing team will be focusing on areas around Norreys Avenue and Seaford Road near Wescott and Westende schools and All Saints Primary during the operation.
PCSO Natalie Forward, from the Norreys policing team, said: “We will be aiming to stop the parking issues that are continually occurring around the school and also to prevent students from leaving school without permission.
“This should be a positive operation for the area.”
