Ranelagh quartet are off to Oxford University

Four whizkids from a Bracknell school are heading to the world of top class academia after landing places at Oxford university.

Ranelagh School Year 13 pupils Tom Kennington, Georgina Morrison, Becky Wyatt and Paul Manley have all been accepted to study at the famous university.

Their offers are all hingeing on the small matter of three A grade A-levels but should they achieve the grades they will be heading to the world-famous university in September.

Georgina has been offered a place at University College to study history, Rebecca will study geography at St Catherine’s College and Tom has landed a place on the top maths and computer science course at University College.

Paul has been accepted on the course for music and has also landed an organ scholarship at Queen’s College.

Ranelagh headteacher Kathy Winrow said: “This is a fantastic achievement and we are very proud of them.

“They have worked hard and have contributed hugely to Ranelagh during their time in the school.

“They deserve their success and we wish them well in the future.”
