Damian Dunne is the eldest son of the West End Garage’s original founder. His premises is located on the main A322 Guildford Road, about 10 minutes from Bracknell Town Centre.
His father Donald Dunne took over the business in 1969, becoming only the third supplier of Datsun Nissan in the country, and remained as a main agent for 23 years.
The garage operates independently.
Taking on Daihatsu in 2002 and Proton in 2005, West End Garage is the top dealer in the region for both manufacturers.
Daihatsu are the compact range of Toyota, specialising in economical and environmentally-friendly vehicles.
The small but expanding Daihatsu range varies from small sports cars to family vehicles.
West End Garage still maintain their links with Nissan. In parts manager Jim Lawrence the garage has a man with a wealth of experience, having been with the company since its was founded.
The garage services and MOTs all makes and models, but it specialises in Nissan, Daihatsu and Proton.
A true family business, the garage is now welcoming its third generation of customers, with the grandchildren of its first customers now regulars themselves.
