Travel: Gwel an Mor, Cornwall

Gwel an Mor, just above the pretty village of Portreath, means ‘views of the sea’ in Cornish and it’s no misnomer – wherever you are in this award-winning resort you can see the Atlantic.

This is no typical British holiday park – the log cabins are luxury, the on-site restaurant is top class, and the kids are encouraged to get close to nature, not slot machines or giant screen Wiis.
