Bracknell shops extend opening hours for Christmas

December 21, 2010

There is still plenty of time to get in some last minute Christmas shopping with all shops in Bracknell town centre opening late this week.

Town centre stores will be opening their doors from 9am to 8pm each day in the run up to Christmas Eve on Friday.

Bracknell Market will be open on Thursday and Friday from 8.30am for shoppers looking to pick up some last minute nibbles or the ingredients needed for Christmas dinner.

All town centre stores will also be open from 9am to 5.30pm on Christmas Eve.

There is up to two hours free parking to shoppers parking at Princess Square until Tuesday, December 28.

And on late night Thursdays, from 5pm to 8pm, during the festive period shoppers can park for free at the Princess Square and all town centre car parks.

Helen Barnett, marketing manager at Bracknell Regeneration Partnership said: “We are delighted to be able to support both our retailers and our valued customers at this festive time of year.

“We are pleased to be able to offer up to two hours free parking to everyone during key Christmas shopping times, setting us apart from other local shopping destinations.”

Bracknell shoppers will also be able to take their pick of the best post-Christmas bargains when the sales begin on Boxing Day, with all town centre stores opening from 10am to 4pm.
