New stores for festive season

November 02, 2010

New shops are popping up in the town centre ahead of the Christmas shopping rush.

Past Times and Calendar Club have opened to help out with gifts and, for when you need a break from the crowds, Love Coffee has opened in a kiosk in Princess Square to provide refreshments.

Both Past Times and Calendar Club are ‘pop-up shops’ which will close after Christmas – although Past Times says it is looking into the possibility of opening a permanent store in Bracknell.

Past Times, which sells heritage-themed gifts, opened on Wednesday, October 13, in Princess Square and will close in January.

Calendar Club, also in Princess Square, stocks calendars featuring everything from models to dogs.

Rob Morris, retail manager for Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, said: “We are really pleased to welcome these new stores to Princess Square.

“We are confident that shoppers will love what they have to offer.”
