Pet Finder: Lindsey longs for home

By Laura Herbert
January 13, 2010

Loveable Lindsey is still with the centre and she’s longing for the purrfect home.

She is a pretty girl of about eight years who is very friendly. The best home for Lindsey would be a quiet one with an owner who would be around in the day to keep her company.

Molly is a friendly soul of 10 years with black and white fur. She needs a home with older children and no other pets.

Long-haired tabby Nora has a sweet and friendly nature. She is thought to be at least five years old and may be a little shy but she is sure to blossom into a very happy cat.

Flora is another golden oldie of 10 years. The white and tortie long-haired girl is still very active and enjoys mooching in a safe garden.

If you can home any of these cats call Reading and District Cats Protection on (0118) 940 3005 or visit www.readinganddistrictcats.org.

Friendly Frankie was a stray found in Reading and Thames Valley Animal Welfare thinks he is about eight years old.

He was in a poor state when he arrived at the centre but is responding very well to treatment.

If you think you can offer Frankie a home, telephone TVAW on (0118) 972 1871 or 01494 484527.

Have you seen?

Ten-year-old Buster has been missing since Wednesday, December 30.

The Staffordshire bull terrier disappeared after being let off his lead near the recreation ground in George Street, West Reading.

The black dog, with white on his chest, head and paws, was wearing a collar at the time of his disappearance.

His distressed owner who lives in Ripley Road, Tilehurst, is very keen to have him back. If you have seen Buster contact Petfinder Laura Herbert on (0118) 918 3025.

Boris, a fluffy tabby boy cat, is still missing.

His worried owner is hoping the one-and-a-half-year-old, who disappeared on Sunday, November 29, will make it home in the new year. Boris vanished from the Loddon Bridge Road area of Woodley wearing a collar with Tyson-Blue written on it.

If you see him call Theresa Tyson on 07742 600 711.
