The Volunteer in Theale, known locally as ‘The Volly’ has been run by Alan & Shelley for the past 14 years.
It is a friendly village pub that has a bit of everything. A large, colourful beer garden, off the road to enjoy a few beers on a nice day or balmy evening, yet a large open log fire to warm up a dreary winter’s night. A fairly quiet area to dine in or have a quiet drink and yet at the other end a large plasma TV with Sky Sports and Premiership Plus, where all the games are shown.
