Young people can get fit for free at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre

By Laura Herbert
January 25, 2013

Young people can receive a free seven-day membership at a Lower Earley leisure centre from this weekend.

The free offer to The Pod at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre is open to people aged eight to 17 years and will run from Saturday to Saturday, February 23.

The Pod, at the centre in Rushey Way, includes a Zig Zag dance machine, two sports walls with flashing lights and four interactive bikes. Tony Penge, leisure centre contract manager, said: “We are committed to ensuring young people have an exercise experience they will want to repeat again and again. I’m sure once the young people start visiting The Pod they will keep on coming back.

“We hope the seven-day membership will give young people a taste of fun and interactive fitness.”
