Royal Berks action to keep winter vomiting bug at bay
December 19, 2012
Royal Berkshire Hospital is asking people to consider the necessity of their visit to stop the spread of the winter vomiting bug.
Only a handful of RBH patients are suffering from the virus but it is highly contagious and is a risk to patients.
Anyone who has suffered symptoms of vomiting and diarrhoea in the last 48 hours – or who has been in close contact with someone with the symptoms – should postpone their visit.
The hospital also asks people avoid visiting in large numbers.
