Lucky mother and daughter duo Helen and Jenny Davies will be in for a particular treat as they get a complete makeover at The Oracle on Saturday.

The pair from Caversham won the fantastic prize in a Reading Post competition.

Win a place on The Oracle catwalk

Helen, 55, and her daughter Jenny, 24, will be having their makeover live on stage at 4.15pm during The Oracle shopping centre’s fashion show spectacular

Actress Liv Kennard will be presenting the event which will include catwalk shows and make-up demos. Model agency Models 1 will also be out scouting for new talent.

Mrs Davies  said: “Me and Jenny are a great team and often go shopping together. We love fashion but we have never done anything like this before - I never in a million years thought we would win.

“We were in The Oracle just the other day actually but we are both a bit tight on money at the moment so this is a great surprise.”

The pair will be pampered with a professional hair and makeup session courtesy of Boots No7 and Lee Stafford hair care, followed by an on-stage style makeover with London Fashion Week stylist Rose Forde. They will also get to take home the outfits chosen for them to ensure that they are on-trend all season long.
