Beer fanatics can grab their tankards and head along to the second ale festival at Bracknell Football Club.
The Bracknell Ale & Wine Festival will be held at Bracknell Town FC on the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee weekend on Monday, June 4.
The festival features a range of ales brought from a range of local breweries like Rebellion Brewery in Marlow and Binghams Brewery in Twyford.
Wine will be provided by the Wokingham-based thewineplace.co.uk
For the first time, there will also be a range of ciders available at the festival.
The event has been organised by club members Tom Canning and Michael Keen.
Tom said: “Last year the rain really came down, but it didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm.
“We had plenty of marquee cover and every club member came along and got involved. It was huge fun.
“This year we will again have outdoor cover, as well as a barbecue supplied by the junior club.
“We’ve hired a local band to come and entertain in the evening and we hope to have music through out the day.”
Michael added: “We are hoping that everyone will be in the Jubilee spirit and come down and celebrate with us.
“Hosting the event on the Bank Holiday weekend seemed ideal, with the main celebrations happening the following day. We’ve made sure and ordered good weather.”
The organisers are still looking for sponsors for the event alongside Inchcape Ford, TradeMark Windows, Gentry Decorating Services, Sign-A-Rama Thames Valley and the Jack O’Newbury pub in Terrace Road North, Binfield.
