New steakhouse to open at The Oracle

February 02, 2012

A new steakhouse is to open on The Oracle Riverside on Friday, February 10. Miller & Carter restaurant will be moving into the unit which had previously been occupied by Old Orleans.

The eatery, owned by Mitchells & Butlers which also has neighbouring Browns, is best known for serving up premium beef steaks alongside fish, lamb and chicken dishes.

There are 20 Miller & Carter restaurants across the UK but this will be the first to open in the Thames Valley.

Thirty jobs will be created by the opening.

Natalie Taylor, manager of the new steakhouse, said: “Miller & Carter is proud of its quality and I believe that guests at the new restaurant in The Oracle will enjoy our excellent service, varied drinks menu and finest selection of premium, succulent and flavoursome steaks.

“Our new steakhouse has a stylish yet informal setting, perfect for experiencing the expertise of the talented chefs, whether it’s for a quick lunch, celebrating a special occasion, or treating friends and family.”

A launch party for local businesses and residents will take place on February 9. Visit www.millerandcarter.co.uk/oracleevents to find out more.
