Don't miss Food Monthly

May 15, 2009

Don't miss out on your copy of Food Monthly free inside tonight's Evening Post.

We are celebrating our fantastic local food festival in this issue.

It really is a brilliant event which happens this weekend (May 16&17) and, of course, our regular writers are all involved.

Pop down to see the charming Daniel Galmiche cook his sea bream (hmm, which is sexier? The fish or Daniel? You decide!), Paul Clerehugh with his eclectic range of great food, Tom Kerridge from Marlow’s Hand & Flowers, Giancarlo Caldesi for a flavour of Italy, The Forbury restaurant for some French flair – and promise me you won’t miss the simply fabulous Mya Lacarte stand.

Mya Lacarte won restaurant of the year at our Pride of Reading awards and is simply one of the best new places to eat in the South.

But if you can’t get to Henley this weekend, food monthly can give you a taste, with sample recipes from all our great chefs.

Meanwhile, we’ve started a new series – we buy the celebrity cook book, we cook one of the dishes at home and tell you how easy or difficult it is to get the ingredients and to prepare it.

We’ve also found the best gastro pub gardens – and we’ve news of another new food festival.

Here comes the sun as The Beatles sang!
