You have to, with its minimum order policy of 12 bottles. On offer until Tuesday is Spanish wine, with 25 per cent off all purchases.
Start with the Rioja Reserva 2003 Berberana (£7.99 before discount), bottled in a bodega with 130 years of history.
Made the right way, with at least two years ageing in oak, creamy vanilla overtones are supplemented by juicy strawberry flavours and a touch of spice. A wine for traditional Rioja lovers.
The distinctive Rioja Crianza 2004 Marqués de Cáceres (£8.49) is a real fruitcake of a wine combined with velvety smooth tannins. It is produced in the heart of the Alta region and decent value.
The smooth Rioja Reserva 2003 Marqués de la Concordia (£10.66) is better still – chocolate and coffee with spice.
For something slightly different try the Fuentespina Crianza 2004 Ribera del Duero (£11.99).
This region is earning a reputation for producing some outstanding wine and is expected to really test Rioja when it comes to the nation’s top reds.
Dark fruits flood the nose in a glass with great depth and richness.
Finally, indulge in a bottle of Rioja Prado Enea 2000 Muga (£25) – one of the best bodegas of the Alta region.
An elegant wine packed with good flavours – blackberry and spice – and good to drink until 2015 if you can wait. Highly rated.
