December 09, 2010

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. That really is Sir John Madejski pictured in fancy dress with Jeni Wood, the Mayor of Henley.

The owner of Reading FC is part of an all-star cast performing an adults-only charity version of Cinderella next week, which will take place at the Kenton Theatre in Henley.

The cast will also include Antony Worrall-Thompson, Angie and Calum Best. Oh, and Vince Hill, The Quotes, Stephen Kirwen from Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat and a host of other local and famous faces.

The evening will raise funds to support Headway, the Kenton Theatre and Sue Ryder Care, and there will also be an exciting auction of fantastic and unique lots.

Tickets for the special show, which has one performance only on Thursday, December 16, cost £50 for silver seats, £75 for golden ones and a special VIP Platinum deal, which includes nibbles and the chance to meet the cast after the show, for £150.

For details, log on to www.whos-that-girl.co.uk or call the theatre’s box office on 01491 575698.
