Aldermaston Nativity returns for 54th year

The Aldermaston nativity play will be staged again next week for the 54th year running.

Generations of families from the area have taken part in the York Nativity Play which this year will run from Thursday, December 9, to Sunday, December 12.

The play to be staged in St Mary the Virgin Church in Church Road has been directed by Pat Eastop since it began.

The curtain goes up at 8pm on the Thursday and Friday and 7.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Performances are free but tickets must be booked via nativity2010@hotmail.co.uk.

   54 years? The Baptist Man's Man Group would argue it is a tad over 2000 son.
