Woodley Theatre perform Strictly Murder

June 14, 2010

Theatre lovers are promised a fast moving thriller of lies, subterfuge and a rollercoaster of bluff and double bluff when a local group returns next week.

Woodley Theatre will take to the stage at the Oakwood Centre in Headley Road between Tuesday, June 15, and Saturday, June 19, to perform its version of Brian Clemens’ Strictly Murder.

The story, which is set in spring of 1939, follows the lives of Peter and Suzy, a couple who, despite the threat of an imminent war, are living in an idyllic location.

However, their peace becomes shattered when the latter discovers she has been betrayed, while their lives become even more complicated and frightening when a Scotland Yard detective arrives at the door.

Tickets for the show, which will be performed daily at 7.45pm, are £9 for adults and £7 for concessions.

These can be obtained by calling the box office on (0118) 969 0827.
