Twyford artist Richard Conway-Jones has launched an display of his work at Dinton Pastures Country Park.

The ‘Deep in the Afternoon’ exhibition is held in the Garden Gallery within the Dragonfly Cafe at the park in Hurst.

Mr Conway-Jones said: “My work is inspired by the post-impressionists painters – I love their use of colour.

“The images in this exhibition have a mixture of humour, optimism and contemplation. Some of them are based on animal images, particularly cats, which I’m particularly fond of capturing on canvas.”

Paintings in the Garden Gallery are all for sale with 10 per cent going towards conservation at the park.

The exhibition was launched on Tuesday, May 15, and will run until Monday, September 3.
