August 17, 2011

Has Reading Got Talent? kicked off last Wednesday and since then a steady stream of would-be stars have got up on stage and showed off their skills.

Would-be winners have until 6pm tonight to audition – and so many people have shone so far organisers have confirmed an extra semi-final.

As well as the one scheduled for tomorrow evening, when X Factor finalist Danyl Johnson and Royals chairman Sir John Madejski will be judging, there will be a session on Friday evening.

The 40 finalists will then get up in front of the judges between 10am and 5pm on Saturday when up to £2,000 in prize money is up for grabs.

The judging panel will be Broad Street Mall manager Steve Fawke, Dan Little from last year’s winning street dance troupe Vanquish, rapper TJ ‘4fingaz’ Shiyanbola and getreading reporter Mike Pyle.

This is how this so, called talent contest works!!!. If your really talented and professional sounding they give you lots of smiles and say how great you are put you in the semi finals. Then you come back sing on point get standing ovation from the judges and huge positive response from the crowd and you believe you will make the finals, I mean how could you not when you had such huge response right?.... but then only to find all the untalented and very unprofessional acts go through to the final and all the real talent gets sent home lol... So, you see to all the real talented people out there please, please, don't waste your time and talent on this cheaply unprofessional run place because you just wont be apreciated. None of the people who run it has a clue what real talent it...... Best to audition for something that will open real doors for you, and real top professionals who know about the music biz... because this is just a freak show....
