East Reading Festival starts five days of fun

East Reading’s annual festival will kick off today and run until Sunday when a big event will take place in Palmer Park.
The free event features live music, a barbecue, fun fair, sports and activities for under fives.
Meanwhile an exhibition of local artwork celebrates the 30th anniversary of Orts Road in St John and St Stephen Church. It runs from 9am to 7pm on Thursday to Saturday and 12.30pm to 5.30pm Sunday.
