Charvil performers sing songs from stage and screen

By Jon Nurse
February 26, 2013

Songs from stage and screen were performed for the nation’s war heroes in a concert at Charvil Village Hall.

Pupils of village singing teacher Suzanne Newman helped raise £220 for Help for Heroes.

The performers, some as young as 10, used costume and movement to enhance their acts and captivated the audience with popular numbers including Beauty and the Beast, What a Wonderful World, Hero and The Ugly Duckling.

A raffle was drawn to raise extra funds towards the Armed Forces charity.
