Taster sessions for new Glee singers

By Caroline Cook
April 13, 2012

Singers are being given the chance to make their lives a bit more gleeful with a free taster session at a Bracknell singing club.

Glee Club UK, which was founded by Richard Whennell in Bracknell in 2010, is opening its doors for two free taster sessions next week.

The club invites singers of all abilities to learn the notes and sing along to a range of popular pieces from modern pop songs to musical favourites.

Glee Club UK was formed on the back of popular TV show Glee and now has branches in Twyford, Caversham, Windsor and Bracknell.

The club has also released a single, appeared on Vanessa Feltz’s show on Channel 5, and sung on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.

Anyone interested can go along to a taster session on Wednesday, April 18, at Sandy Lane Primary School, in Bracknell, or Thursday, April 19, at Priestwood Community Centre, in Bracknell, at 7.45pm.

Entry is usually £6 on the door but people can go along to the taster sessions for free.
