By Phil Creighton
February 21, 2012

Wokingham choral group the Cameo Singers are busy preparing for their next concert, which will take place later this month.

The evening of music will include a lively mixture of madrigals, part-songs and other lighter items.

It will be led by the group’s musical director, Ian May, who is also organist and director of music at St Giles-in-Reading.

Ian also directs Schola Cantorum Sancti Aegidii which specialises in singing church music in its liturgical setting.

The Cameo concert will also feature its sister group, the Cameo Consort.

The instrumental and vocal group will play a selection of music during the evening.

It takes place in Wokingham Town Hall from 7.30pm on Saturday, February 25. Tickets cost £10 or £8 for concessions and include refreshments.
