Salvation Army Christmas Carol Concert tomorrow

November 27, 2009

The ever-popular Salvation Army Christmas Carol Concert is tomorrow, with special guests Paul Jones, of Manfred Mann, and Fiona Hedley.

Tickets to the concerts, at 3pm and 7.30pm, cost £12, and will be enjoyed by the Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire Mary Bayliss and the Mayor of Reading Councillor Fred Pugh at The Hexagon.

All proceeds will go to community needs, the Mayor’s charity and the international work of the Salvation Army.

The concert is being sponsored by Festival Republic, which is also visiting the Salvation Army on Monday, December 7, from 10am to 2pm to help pack and distribute food packages donated by festival-goers in the summer.

For concert details, call the box office on (0118) 9606 060 or visit www.readingarts.com.
