Cheering most talented 15 to the final

The town’s finest strutted their stuff at Broad Street Mall yesterday to prove that Reading really Has Got Talent.

The 35 semi-finalists gave it all they had in front of a team of judges which included Fia Tarrant of Reading 107fm, deputy editor of the Evening Post Hilary Scott, Reading Football Club chairman John Madejski and Steve Fawke,  general manager of Broad Street Mall.

A juggler, rapper, street dancers, singers and musicians gave it their all in a bid to make it to the finals.

Fifteen acts will go through to the finals which start at 11.30am tomorrow at Broad Street Mall.

X Factor semi-finalist Niki Evans and Shaun Williamson – best known as Barry from EastEnders – will both be making a special appearance at the event.

The winner will receive £1,000.
