Will Kate rock up to festival with beau’s band The Kills?

July 09, 2008

Oxford Road regular Pete Doherty better watch out – Kate Moss’s new beau’s band are playing at the Reading Festival.

Fingers crossed Kate, who previously performed in Reading’s Fez club, will be in the crowd to watch The Kills on the Festival Republic stage on Sunday, August 24.

The popular band – fronted by Kate’s boyfriend James Hince – have swept into the charts recently.

But they are not the only top acts performing on the Festival Republic stage this year. Yesterday it was announced Glasvegas, Wiley and Elliot Minor would also be strutting their stuff on stage.

On Friday, August 22, on the Festival Republic stage people can watch cult bands Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip and Does It Offend You, Yeah?

On Saturday, August 23, Elliot Minor, The Audition and All Time Low will be performing.

And on Sunday, August 24, The Kills, Wiley – who had a hit single with ‘Wearing My Rolex’ – and Glasvegas will perform.

On the main stage bands including Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, The Killers and The Last Shadow Puppets will entertain the crowd over the weekend.

As soon as we know the Post will report who is performing on the Alternative and BBC stages.

Does anyone really care if she turns up?

Is whether Kate Moss turns up at the Reading Festival classed as news now?

I washed my hair this morning - if the EP wants an exclusive and I'm thinking of having a curry for tea.
