Austin Powers (Myers), returns with more famous faces, a sassier sidekick and enough toilet humour to satisfy the most ardent fan of poo jokes.

The thoroughly ridiculous plot sees Austin travelling to the 70s in search of his father (Caine) who has been kidnapped by Dutch villain Goldmember.

There Austin teams up with agent Foxxy Cleopatra (Knowles) before going back to the future to thwart Dr Evil and Goldmember’s plan to take over the world.

With Myers playing four characters, this could have been a one-man show, but the support is good too.

Caine is superb at sending up his own cockney wide-boy persona.

This time round the spoofery extends beyond Bond into blaxploitation films and prison movies.

The question is, how long before he runs out of

things to spoof?
