The Sanctions rock for charity

May 07, 2009

CRANLEIGH’S own The Sanctions plus support will play a charity gig at the Cranleigh Arts Centre on Saturday, May 16.

The Sanctions are a four-piece rock covers band based in Cranleigh. They rock pubs, clubs, festivals and private functions with their eclectic mix of high-energy music.

The Sanctions are more than a local band, they are an experience. They cover music by The Cars, The Police, 999, The Knack, The Jam, The Clash, Kaiser Chiefs and Reef, plus many more.

Feel the energy of your favourite songs from the late 70s and early 80s, combined with some contemporary indie rockers, played as they should be - with plenty of attitude.

The gig will be in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association.

Tickets are £10 in advance, £12 on the door. All proceeds to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Call 08456 128128.
