For the 11th year running a Shinfield restaurant has been awarded a prestigious Michelin star.

L’ortolan, in Church Lane, has once again been awarded a coveted star in The Michelin Guide Britain and Ireland.

Alan Murchison, executive chef, said: “This has been one of the best years we have had at L’ortolan and I am proud of the whole team for this fantastic achievement.

“It is their hard work, commitment and passion that enables us to keep our Michelin star and deliver the consistently high quality of food and service that our guests expect year after year.

“Well done to everyone and keep on pushing.”
