The singer, who recently starred in the film Crossroads with KIM CATTRALL, told comedian Richard Blackwood on Sky One, that she will appear as herself playing the girlfriend of Mini Me.

In one of her scenes, she is performing a concert when Austin Powers, played by MIKE MYERS, comes on stage and grapples with her for the spotlight.

The movie is due to open later this summer.

As well as Myers, the film stars SIR MICHAEL CAINE, Destiny’s Child star BEYONCE KNOWLES and ROBERT WAGNER. Other celebrities with cameo roles in the film include DANNY DEVITO, KEVIN SPACEY and GWYNETH PALTROW.
