The subject matter for this programme is about as cheerful as the weather at the moment, but this should be an interesting,yet uncomfortable, watch.
Newsreader Sir Trevor McDonald heads across the pond to a prison housing people on death row.
He meets the condemed men at Indiana State Maximum Security Prison and chats to them about their lives and their crimes.
He meets one man who is serving a 150-year sentence, who will also be put to death at some point too.
Another man has been on death row for more than 18 years, which seems to be a horribly bleak existence.
McDonald always comes across as very nice, and it'll be interesting to see how her gets on in what is likely to be one of the most horrible places in the world.
