Television - Pick ot the week

November 12, 2008

Little Dorrit, tonight, BBC1, 8pm

If you've been able to keep up with the changing days and times of this 14-part offering of classic Dickens from the BBC, you’ll not want to miss this week’s instalments.

Amy goes with Fanny to visit Edmund Sparkler’s mother and love is in the air tomorrow night when Arthur proposes to Pet – will he win her hand or has Gowan already swept her off her feet?

And, presumably, more of the plots involving other characters will unfold further.

Oceans, tonight, BBC2, 8pm

This is a new series exploring and examining Earth’s biggest asset.

Four presenters get on board the Sea Escape to take us around the Southern Ocean, Mediterranean and the Red Sea to name a few.

Harry Hill’s TV Burp, Saturday, ITV1, 7.05pm

Have a giggle with Harry Hill as he reviews this week’s television highlights.

No one from the world of soaps, reality TV or serious documentaries is safe as the madcap comedian subjects them to closer scrutiny than they’d care for.
