EVERYBODY’S favourite fat guy Jack Black returns to the screen as Nacho Libre – the story of a true underdog in the world of professional wrestling.
Black plays Ignacio, a monastery cook by day and a spandex clad grappler by night.
Ignacio fights for one reason only; to provide for a group of Mexican orphans he has taken under his wing.
Black, working with Napoleon Dynamite writer Jared Hess, ensures there are plenty of laughs along the way.
True, the jokes may be as hit and miss as Black’s sparring, but whatever you may say about his lurid outfits, the boy’s got charisma in abundance.
Don’t expect to have to concentrate, but do expect to laugh. Nacho Libre is out now.
