PRoduced by Quentin Tarantino, Hostel promises violence by the shedload, but the gratuitous nature of that violence is perhaps surprising. Shocking might be a better word.
Three friends embark on a backpacking adventure across Europe. Stopping in Amsterdam to sample the city’s seedy side, they meet Alex who tells them about a hostel in Slovakia, where the girls are incredibly hot and go wild for foreigners.
The three men can’t get on the train to Bratislava quickly enough and when they get there they discover everything Alex told them seems to be true. It’s not long before events take a nightmarish turn, however, and the boys are plunged into a world where wealthy businessmen pay to indulge their most depraved fantasies.
