As Guy Fawkes’ Night approaches we round up fireworks and bonfire nights taking place across Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell.

MONDAY 5 NOVEMBER
CHIEVELEY – Chieveley Fireworks. The Recreation Centre, High Street, Chieveley. RG20 8TE. Bar, refreshments, barbecue, bonfire and fireworks. Gates open at 6.15pm, guy contest 6.45pm, torchlight procession 7pm, bonfire 7.15pm, fireworks 7.45pm. Advance tickets £12 family, £4 single. On the night, £16 family, £5 single. HAMPSTEAD NORREYS - Fireworks display. The White Hart, Church Street, Hampstead Norreys. RG18 0TB. Food and refreshments. Gates open at 6.30pm, fireworks at 7.30pm. Tickets are £3 per person or £10 for four people.
FRIDAY 9 NOVEMBER
BRACKNELL - Fireworks Display. St Margaret Clitherow Catholic Primary School, Pembroke. RG1 7RD. Burgers, hot dogs, hot and cold beverages, sweets, Glow products and delicious curry straight from the kitchen of the Tiger’s Pad Restaurant in Sunningdale. Gates open 6.30pm, firworks display by Bracknell’s very own Star Fireworks starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £6 per adult, £4 per child or £15 per family (two adults and two children OR one adult and three children) and are available from the school office before the event, or on the gate. Family tickets must be purchased before 3.15pm on Friday, November 9. Due to limited parking at the school consider leaving your car at home.
READING - Fireworks Display. Earley St Peter's School firework display in Sol Joel Park, Church Road, Earley. RG6 1EY. Hot food and drinks and novelty items, bonfire and fireworks. Gate open at 6pm, bonfire at 6.30pm and fireworks at 7pm. Tickets £6 for adults, £3 for children. Discount for students on presentation of an NUS or student library card.
WOODLEY - Rivermead Fireworks at Rivermead School, Loddon Bridge Road, Woodley, Reading. Oganised by 1st Woodley Scout Group and Rivermead School PTA.Gates open at 6.30pm. Fireworks off at 7.30pm. Music, hot food, drinks, glow products and sweets available. Entry on night Adult £5, Children aged over 3 to 16 - £4 (must be accompanied by an adult). Advance ticket sales available at a discount from Rivermead, Southlake & Beechwood School’s PTA. No parking on site, but only a short walk from Woodley Precinct (Lidl) car park. SATURDAY 10 NOVEMBER
SWALLOWFIELD – Sparks in the Park organised by the Farley Hill School Association. Swallowfield Park. RG7 1TG. Refreshments, souvenirs, live music bonfore and fireworks. Gates open at 6pm. Advance: £7 adults, £2.50 children, £15 family. Tickets from Swallowfield Stores, Henry Street Garden Centre and Spencers Wood Post Office. On the day: £8 adults, £3 children, £17 family.
