An exhibition of paintings by a Hurst artist are now on display.

Visitors to Dinton Pastures Country Park can view ‘Lightness’ by Jonathan de Mounteney in the Garden Room Gallery until the end of this month.

Mr de Mounteney, who studied fine art at Bath University and now lives in Hurst, exhibits his paintings in London and around Berkshire.

Rebecca Walkley, Wokingham Borough Council’s countryside officer, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to see some modern art at your local country park.

“We want to encourage local artists and sculptors to exhibit their artwork here, where hundreds of our visitors to the Dragonfly Café and country park can enjoy them.”

All of his works are available to buy, with 10 per cent of proceeds going towards conservation work at Dinton Pastures Country Park.
