Woodcote Steam Rally postponed

Organisers of the popular Woodcote Steam Rally have been forced to postpone this year's event by the weather.

The rally was due to be held this weekend but extremely poor conditions on the event field mean that the show can't go ahead.

Organisers have yet to announce a new date.

   I (me) (no joking) (seriously now) am very disappointed by this news. I was looking forward to a couple of lazy sunny days with the smell of coal and steam wafting through what is left of my hair. with Aunty (the dog) and the brunette, searching for junk to top up my shed (running a little low on useful junk).

I suppose I'll have to sit out the front under my fishing umbrella offering advice to everyone who passes our front door.

Summers "just ain't what they used to was" as they say.
