On Show in Reading

March 17, 2010

If you're looking for something to do this Easter, then bear with Reading Museum.

It’s currently preparing an exciting new show for you to get your paws on, featuring the much-loved Paddington Bear.

The famous bear who claims to be from darkest Peru but actually has roots in Reading will be celebrated in the new show which launches at the end of the month.

The Life and Times of Paddington Bear will tell the story from Bond’s very first Paddington book, A Bear Called Paddington published in 1958, to the most recent title in the series Paddington Here and Now published in 2008, 50 years later.

We’re trying to find out if marmalade sandwiches will be available.

The exhibition opens on Saturday, March 27 and runs until Sunday, July 4.

For more details, log on to www.readingmuseum.org.uk or call (0118) 939 9800.
