Pete Firman brings magical comedy to Aldershot

February 07, 2012

Pete Firman, the star of BBC1’s primetime Saturday night magic show The Magicians is bringing his critically acclaimed live show, Jiggery Pokery to the West End Centre in Aldershot on Saturday February 18, at 8pm.

It’s a show that blends the coolest illusions with pitch perfect comedy to make a faultless evening’s entertainment.

With a mind-boggling mastery of magic and illusion, and a consummate capacity for perfectly formed gags, Pete has rapidly become one of the UK’s most eminently watchable and totally unique performers both on TV and in his live shows.

Pete Firman first burst onto our television screens as cheeky Northerner Tufty in Monkey Magic on Channel 5.

Since then he has travelled the world meeting his magic heroes and performing his own brand of anarchic magic in The Secret World Of Magic on Sky One and amazed viewers by performing disgusting tricks with animals, cigarettes and big spiky things in Dirty Tricks on CH4.

Pete is a published author and his first book, Tricks To Freak Out Your Friends was also released in the USA and is about to go into its second printing.

The Magicians is currently mid-way through its six week run and Pete can be seen performing with some of the UK’s best-loved celebrities to create mind-blowing illusions live on our TV screens.

It is the first time a magic series has been transmitted live on the BBC in over thirty years. More information and tickets for the stage show visit www.westendcentre.co.uk or call the box office on 01252 330040.
